Nounly ("the app") is an English grammar practice app. This policy explains what data the app handles and why. In short: you can use Nounly fully without an account, we don't show ads, and we never sell your data.
Your progress (answers, streaks, XP, saved cards and settings) is stored only on your phone. We don't collect any personal information from you.
The app downloads question updates and the daily puzzle from our server. These requests don't include personal information, but like any internet request they reveal your IP address to our hosting provider, which may keep it briefly in server logs for security.
You can sign in to sync your progress across phones. If you do, we store:
Account data is stored with our backend provider, Supabase, which processes it on our behalf. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), and each account can access only its own data.
You can delete your account at any time in the app: open your Profile (top-right avatar), tap your email address, then tap Delete account. This permanently deletes your email address, progress and answer history from our servers. Data stored only on your phone is removed when you uninstall the app.
If you can't use the app, email us at rox.nishant@gmail.com from the address you signed up with, and we will delete your account and all its data within 30 days.
Nounly is intended for learners aged 13 and over. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
